I enjoy making videos. I am a self-taught freelancer, who enjoys creating. One of my favorite creative outlets is photography and cinematography, as well as writing, film editing and production in general. If you have a subject request, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

* Creator's thoughts about the "Heartthrob Forever" series:

Regarding the popular "Heartthrob Forever" video series, it is a lot of fun to work on, and I hope that people enjoy it! I now have over 150 videos in the "Heartthrob Forever" playlist at the time of this typing, and the number of videos is ever growing, so feel free to browse around for your favorites! Also, I really like it when people share their feedback, or thoughts on the subject in general. I do my best to read every one. If you don't see your "heartthrob" represented with a tribute video, don't worry. I am constantly adding on, and I also take requests. Just let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

* More about the "Heartthrob Forever series:

If you are unfamiliar with the "Heartthrob Forever" series, these are shorts (videos of one minute or less each) that feature "heartthrobs" throughout the years, through the generations, with slideshows of photos set to music. Because not everyone has the same taste, people might not always agree on whether a subject is a "heartthrob", but for each person featured in a video has had a following at some point when they had an undeniable "heartthrob status to many.

* About the editing process, and the thought behind artistic choices:

I have seen many slideshows with blurry or grainy photos, without much attention paid to rhyme or reason, so I have edited these found photos to create 4K quality images when possible. I repair any fading or damage to the best of my ability, and I tend to over develop as an artistic choice. Sometimes I like to overly sharpen details, such as eyes and smiles, to make them almost piercing. I want to create a visually pleasing/stimulating experience. The way I see it, in a progression of images, the eye instinctually searches for a point on which to focus, as it assimilates the picture. By providing a clear focal point, the viewer's eye can more easily find a point on which to focus, making the rest of the photo viewing a more enjoyable experience. Several of the images I have put my own artistic twist on the color scale and textures as well, in order to better fit the mood or tone of the slideshow. Am I thinking too deeply into it all? Probably, lol.

* Final thoughts:

Anyway, I hope that these videos do justice to the heartthrobs represented in this series, and I hope that people enjoy watching them. Again, I am constantly adding on to this series, so if you don't see your heartthrob yet, I do take requests.
