REKS (Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme)
Corey Christie, p/k/a REKS, was born on August 24, 1977, and is a notable figure in American hip-hop. Originating from Lawrence, MA, REKS gained recognition with his debut album, Along Came The Chosen (Brick Records, c.2001). This album earned him nominations for Hip-Hop Album & Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.
Throughout his career, REKS has collaborated with industry giants like DJ Premier, Alchemist, & Statik Selektah. His projects, Grey Hairs (2008) & Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme (2011), showcased his versatility & solidified his standing in the rap world. In 2016, he released The Greatest X, a critically acclaimed album that reinforced his influence in hip-hop.
In 2024, REKS is on pace to release 33 EPs, generating excitement among fans & earning praise from his peers in hip-hop. As a seasoned rapper & collaborator, REKS continues to contribute to the culture, demonstrating his passion & maintaining his status as a significant force in hip-hop.
