I apologize for the lack of streams and uploads lately, we've been GIGA focused on Tyr Cup stuff, especially since we had to deal with so many bugs, not to mention High Wiz getting nerfed right before and in the middle of the tournament + the bugs that resulted in us going into a fight 5v4.

TYR CUP ANNOUNCEMENT for Ragnarök Origin: CLASSIC!



Alright listen up… this one’s BIG.



$1,000,000 USD Prize Pool



This is the ROO:C Tyr Cup, and we haven't seen an MMORPG have this much of a prize pool in a while.



Tournament Format:



10-player teams

5v5 matches



The tournament season will have FOUR stages



1.) Warm-up Stage: nothing counts here, just practice.



2.) Ranking Stage: This is where you compete using your own characters for a Top 96 spot.



3.) Points Stage: This is when it gets hot, everyone at this stage will be provided with pre-made characters with identical resources, progression, and levels.



4.) Elimination Stage: This is the final stage of the tournament.



💰 Champion takes $500,000 USD



The rest of the prize pool is distributed to the qualifying teams depending on your final ranking!

I've had several discussions lately with people about the tagline "RO as it was meant to be."

Now, I have a very clear image of what I think that is, but it's become very clear that others see it differently.

So I wanted to reach out to everyone since you all have your views.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT TAGLINE MEANS?

Are we thinking a true to RO1 but modernized with QoL improvements, like RO would be in a modern setting against games like BDO, GW2, FFXIV, Chrono Odyssey etc.

or are we thinking mobile MMORPG with autoplay?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
