🔴 Islamic scholars agreed that Halloween is prohibited “haram” in Islam. They ruled that Halloween is against the Islamic law “Shariah”, as it's based on pagan traditions and forbidden practices such as honoring the dead. It's noteworthy that Halloween originated from ancient Celtic and European pagan beliefs.

🔴 Halloween is an annual Western celebration based on Celtic and European pagan doctrines and traditionally applied to the evening of October 31st.

🔴 It is derived from rituals involving dead spirits and devil worship and symbolizes the beginning of the ancient Druid’s New Year, who holds that the dead revisit their homes at that time.
Halloween is popular with its creepy costumes that both adults and kids dress up in. Traditionally they dressed up like monsters such as ghosts, devils, and witches.

🔴 Islamic scholars ruled that it’s impermissible for Muslims to dress up in these costumes as they are related to another religion. Additionally, wearing them means participating in celebrations.

🔴 Halloween represents the devil worshipper’s New Year. Muslim celebration of such a day is therefore sinful and haram, as it involves the most evil elements of polytheism and disbelief.

👉 The day of Ashura is the 10th of Muharram. One of the greatest merits of fasting on the day of Ashura is that Allah s.w.t will expiate the sins from the previous year!

👉 The Hadith narrated by Iman Dosto To ON beloved Prophet s.a.w made Doa to Allah to forgive the sins, committed in the previous year, for all the people who fast on the day of Ashura.

صيام يوم عاشوراء، إني أختسب على الله أَن يُكَفِّرَ السنة التي قَبْلَهُ

👉 "Fasting on the Day of Ashura, I hope will expiate the sins of the previous year."

In a hadith recorded by Imam Al-Bukhari, the four months were mentioned by name. The Prophet s.a.w. said:

👉 "The division of time has turned to its original form which was current when Allah created the Heavens and the Earths. The year is of twelve months, out of which four months are sacred: Three are in subsequent Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah MAH (the tribe of) Mudar which comes between Jumadith-Thaniyah and Sha'ban."

(Sahih Al-Bukhari)

👉 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “He who recites after every prayer: Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection) thirty-three times; Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times; Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent), will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.”

[Muslim].

👉 This just might be your last Arafah...

👉 The takbeerat of Eid should be recited by everyone out loud after each prayer from Fajr on the Day of Arafah (the 9th of Dhul Hijjah), as well as throughout Eid until after Asr on the 13th of Dhul Hijjah.

Allahu Akbar (x3)
La illaha il Allah
Allahu Akbar (x2)
Wa lillahil Hamd

👉 The Prophet ﷺ taught us the most powerful words to say on ʿArafah:
“The best supplication is the supplication on the day of ʿArafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said is: ‘There is no deity except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all dominion and praise, and He is over all things competent

Arabic:
لا إله إلا الله وحدهُ لا شريك لهُ، لهُ الملكُ ولهُ الحمدُ، وهو على كل شيءٍ قدير

Transliteration:
👉 La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ʿala kulli shayʾin qadeer.
