Going back to Walmart to buy my teenage skincare routine was a mistake 😅

I thought I'd get nostalgic. Instead, I got traumatized all over again.

The denatured alcohol, the harsh scrubs, the overpowering fragrance - no wonder my skin was flaking off like sandpaper.

We didn't know about skin barriers back then. We just wanted to nuke our acne into submission.

Thank god for skincare education. Your teenagers have it so much better now.
