I just worked out that the last episode of WTF? Went out in July last year… Since this year’s R&L announcement I’ve been cooking up some blinder videos.
Last year I really leaned into AI to help me write more engaging scripts and decent ideas. I’ve always been a fan of these tools, but have been dying to use image generation in some capacity.

Five years ago, I decided to make a video about G Flip after their announcement for Reading and Leeds 2019. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. On December 3rd, 2018, feeling deeply homesick after moving to Australia, unemployed, and spiraling into a severe bout of anxiety, I found solace in making these videos (however dreadful they were).
That year, I created 214 videos covering all artists at R&L 2019. This single decision marked the beginning of an incredible journey around the globe, leading me to proudly say now that I am a full-time filmmaker.
Interestingly, G Flip ended up pulling out that year, but I can still clearly remember reading those final words to the camera: “I’m going to try and do this series for every band. 1 week to go, and I'm packing up, about to embark on my odyssey back to the UK. But it feels like the best time to get the last year's Vlog finally out! I've had so much fun on this edit, it's taken me an age, but I think totally worth it. I can't wait to see this place once again!
