Instead of just visiting Milford Sound during the day… we stayed overnight on a ship in the fjord.

Once the day boats leave, the whole place changes.

And it suddenly feels very small and very wild out there.

This time we’re living out of a tiny Suzuki Jimny with a rooftop tent… driving across the South Island with everything we own stuffed in the back.

No hotels.
No fixed plans.
Very limited personal space.

Just big landscapes, small car chaos, and one very stubborn tent in the wind.

This series means a lot to us — it’s slower, more intentional, and filmed entirely at home here in Aotearoa 🇳🇿

🌿 It’s finally starting. And the first episode is live.

This weekend marks the launch of a brand new series we’ve been quietly building, filming, and holding close for a long time — Little Wild New Zealand 🇳🇿

This isn’t just another travel series.
It’s about slow journeys, remote places, and the kind of experiences that make you feel very small in the best possible way.

And we’re starting with Forgotten World Adventures — riding self-powered rail carts deep into a part of New Zealand where the railway no longer officially exists.
No trains. No timetable. Just us, the track, and two days of being completely off-grid.

Over the coming weeks, this series will take us:
• Across abandoned railways
• Into tiny cars and rooftop tents
• Out to remote islands by land and sea
• Down rivers, along coastlines, and to the very edges of the map

We’re posting 3 carefully curated episodes per month — all filmed here at home, all chosen because they genuinely meant something to us.
