June is about to get very exciting around here 👀🚂

Because after months of filming, planning, and travelling to some very remote corners of the world… my brand new youtube series finally begins.

It’s called End of the Line.

A series about taking trains to the very end of the tracks. places that feel isolated, forgotten, strange, beautiful… and sometimes like the edge of the world.

I’ll be riding overnight trains across Australia, sleeper trains through Vietnam, tiny mountain railways through Europe, remote rail lines in Canada, sleeper trains to the far north of Scotland and more.

This might honestly be the most cinematic, story-driven series I’ve ever made and i’m SO nervous excited to finally share it with you eeeeeeeeek!!

Just a little behind-the-scenes update from me because there’s been a LOT happening quietly in the background lately 😅

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had to unexpectedly pause/rework a bunch of upcoming New Zealand content while navigating filming permissions and concession requirements here in NZ — something I honestly had no idea even applied to the kind of tiny-camera travel filming we do.

It’s been… a lot 😂

There have been phone calls, warning letters, applications, schedule reshuffles, re-edits, brand conversations, deleting scheduled posts at midnight, and several moments of me staring blankly at my laptop wondering how on earth I accidentally ended up in what feels like a Netflix-level paperwork process while holding an Insta360 on a stick hahaha.

I think sometimes it probably looks online like we just hop on trains and magically upload videos every week… but there’s honestly SO much happening behind the scenes that you guys never see.

I actually still had 2 REALLY amazing Little Wild NZ episodes coming too… but they may end up being quite a while away now while I work through everything properly.

In the meantime though, I’ve got some really fun standalone videos coming — including Ludvig’s annual solo video next week 😂 which somehow gets more chaotic every single year.

And luckily for all of us… a brand new series begins mid June and it is VERY train-heavy 😂🚂

Like… aggressively train-heavy.

🚂 NEW VIDEO IS LIVE 🚂🇳🇿

I travelled across New Zealand by train… riding the Coastal Pacific, TranzAlpine, and Northern Explorer all in one giant rail adventure 🥹

And if you ask me? I think train travel might be one of the most underrated ways to see this country.

Something about slowing down, staring out the window for hours, eating little snacks (and lattes) onboard, and watching the landscapes completely change around you just feels… really special.

Who’s been enjoying our NZ series so far? 🇳🇿

It’s been so nice slowing things down a bit, exploring our own backyard, and (very honestly) saving a little bit of money while doing it… because as you can probably imagine… it costs a lot to fly anywhere out of New Zealand hahaha.

We’ve absolutely loved making these — they feel a little different, a little more grounded… but still full of adventure.

It’s also been really interesting seeing the views a bit lower on these videos — and honestly, we completely expected that going into it. We knew they might not explode, but we were still so committed to making this series because New Zealand is such a special place, and something we’ve always wanted to share properly with the world.

New episode tomorrow morning ☀️

We just finished the Abel Tasman 3-day hike… and I did NOT expect it to feel like this.

One minute we were walking on sand dunes
Next minute… wading through the ocean
Then suddenly deep in the forest
And then those unreal turquoise bays just appear out of nowhere

We did the luxury version (boats + lodges + wine… don’t worry, still plenty of walking 😂) and it might have swayed Ludvig....

Episode 6 of Little Wild New Zealand is dropping this weekend… and I went full Middle-earth for this one 🧝‍♀️

I explored real Lord of the Rings filming locations in the South Island with Nomad Safaris in a 4WD — through remote valleys, dangerous roads, deep rivers and witnessed some of the most unreal landscapes I’ve ever seen in New Zealand.

I may or may not have taken it a bit too seriously… (there was a cape involved)

This one feels really special. Can’t wait for you to see it 🤍
