Hej hej from the rails! I’m Chloé — a Kiwi travel creator exploring the world one awkward train moment at a time. My husband Ludvig (dry humour, Swedish passport) joins when he can.
Together, we seek out the quirkiest journeys, comfiest cabins, and always squeeze in a touch of luxury when we can (okay, that part’s mostly my idea 😅). We’re all about making travel fun, relatable, and a little bit weird — with a side of scenic magic. 💛
From epic train rides and cruises to offbeat road trips and all sorts of unexpected detours in between, we love showing you what it’s really like to explore the world — the good, the awkward, and the occasionally sleep-deprived. Whether it’s a luxury rail journey, a ferry to somewhere random, or a rental car adventure through tiny towns, we’re here for the ride.

It's live. And I still can't quite believe I made it😅
Two days on the Skeena, two nights in a berth the width of my body, yoga on a moving train, a man who lives beside the tracks and gets his water delivered by rail... and a stop with no station. Just a gate.
Real talk - there were at least three moments where I genuinely thought this episode wouldn't happen... and I was VERY concerned about if and how I would make this finale....
If you watched it, tell me:
Which part surprised you most- the flag stop, train chair yoga, the school-bus drop-off vibes, or Mount Robson actually showing up?
Drop it below.
And if you've followed End of the Line from episode one - thank you. From the bottom of my tiny train-berth-sized heart

The End of the Line finale is coming out tomorrow and LOL at me thinking this was going to be a nice peaceful train journey through British Columbia Canada 😂
Getting to this particular train involved:
A cancelled train.
A cancelled bus.
A flight booked in desperation.
Abandoning my original plan.
Creating an entirely new plan.
Watching THAT plan fall apart.
And then somehow… going back to the original plan 😂
All to try and make one VERY specific train connection in Jasper.
And when I say the timing was tight...
I mean I spent a considerable portion of this episode genuinely believing there was absolutely NO WAY I was going to make it.
Did I?
Wellllllll...
I'm obviously not telling you that 😂
You'll have to watch the episode to find out.
What I wiiiilllllll say is that this turned into one of the most chaotic End of the Line episodes of the entire season and absolutely nothing went the way I thought it would.
The full episode is out tomorow!!! 🚂🇨🇦
GOOD LUCK, VIDEO CHLOÉ 😂

If you were building your own End of the Line season - six journeys, any country, any train - what would make your list? I want the full dream roster.
Drop it below👇🏼
I'm reading every single one.
No reason at all...........
Completely unrelated to any future planning..........

Okay, I need to know whether it was just me...
Before this weekend, had you ever heard of Mexico’s El Chepe train? 🇲🇽🚂
Because somehow this railway had completely escaped my enormous train radar until literally DAYS before I booked it.
And after riding it through Copper Canyon, I am now slightly baffled as to HOW. 😂

I have travelled on a LOT of trains.
I have a frankly ridiculous list of trains I want to ride.
And somehow, until a few days before I booked it, I had NEVER heard of this one.
Meet El Chepe 🚂🇲🇽
86 tunnels. 37 bridges. An insane open air observation carriage. A railway climbing from near sea level deep into Mexico’s Sierra Madre… and eventually, Copper Canyon.
And the funniest part?
I was never supposed to be here.
This entire episode exists because another End of the Line journey fell apart at the very last minute and I had approximately four days to come up with a Plan B.
Plan B turned out to be rather spectacular.
The next End of the Line episode is coming THIS WEEKEND 🇲🇽🚂

EEEE sorry, just having a moment 😂
I just suddenly had this overwhelming urge to say THANK YOU for being here and watching me ride trains (and occasionally boats) around the world.
Because WHAT IS THIS JOB?????
I get to find some slightly ridiculous form of transport in a random corner of the planet, get on it with approximately 47 cameras, eat train snacks, stare dramatically out of windows, get far too excited about sleeper cabins… and somehow this is my actual job???
Sometimes I genuinely have these little moments where I stop and think
…wait.
People actually watch this??? 😭😂
And because you do, I get to keep doing it.
That is completely insane to me.
I don't think I'll ever stop having pinch me moments about this. I certainly never want to.
So yeah. Nothing to announce. Nothing to promote. 😂
Just having a very enthusiastic little gratitude ATTACK.
Thank you for being here. Seriously ❤️
Coolest. Job. EVER.

🚂 WOOHOO after a few weeks to catch up, I'm back this weekend with the next End of the Line episode.
In episode 4, I ride one of America's most DANGEROUS mountain railroads. And after experiencing it, I see where that name comes from...
The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is a steam train from 1882 that still runs. Still!! In 2026... on the same track... with the same whistle... along the same HUGE mountains with giant drops into the river below. I was also not prepared for it to be a pilates workout. You'll see what I mean.
Cool thing is... I didn't just ride the train. I stayed the night in the old town at the End of the Line.
I hope you enjoy it! I'll be out Sunday!!

I turned 36 this weekend! 🥳
Current status: still spending an unreasonable amount of my life on trains, somehow acquired two baby lambs, frequently have a duck on my shoulder and, more often than I'd like, duck poo on my clothes.
So… 36 is going well. 😂
Wouldn’t change much.
