• Chicken with bone – 1 kg
• Pani – 1.75 litre
• Pyaz – 1 medium
• Lehsan – 6–8 cloves
• Adrak – 2 inch piece
• Kali mirch sabut – 2 tsp
• Safed zeera – 2 tsp
• Sabut dhania – 3 tsp
• Badi elaichi – 2
• Choti elaichi – 4
• Laung – 5–6
• Darchini – 2 pieces
• Tez patta – 2
• Namak – 1.5 tsp
• Hari mirch sabut – 3
• Oil – 1 cup (½ oil + ½ ghee recommended)
• Pyaz – 3 sliced
• Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
• Dahi (whisked) – ½ cup
• Hari mirch – 4 slit
• Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
• Namak – as taste
• Boiled chicken (from yakhni)
• Basmati chawal – 800 g (30 min soak)
• Reserved yakhni – as needed
• Hari mirch – 4–5
• Garam masala – ¼ tsp (dum ke liye)
