Our work is anchored in three Strategic Focus Areas (SFs): Coalition & Capacity Building for Women in Mining , Advocacy for Women in Mining & Host Communities, Economic Empowerment & Sustainable Development.
These Strategic Focus Areas are translated into action through WiM-Africa’s 7-Point Program Agenda (7PPA)—our continental framework for delivering practical programmes spanning NextGen development, women’s economic empowerment, mining host communities, responsible and sustainable mining, advocacy, capacity development, value addition and stronger institutions and partnerships.
From artisanal mining communities to boardrooms, classrooms, laboratories, processing facilities and policy tables, this channel documents the people, ideas, programmes and partnerships contributing to a more inclusive African mining sector.
