By sharing stories about how I connect with the natural world (animals, farmsteading, natural building, cooking, photography, travel, etc.), I hope to inspire others to find their own ways of connecting to the wilder edges of our world.

The channel currently has a lot of yak videos. Raising yaks is one way I've been connecting with nature for the last ten years, and I first began this channel to share the joy of living with yaks on our small, family farm in eastern Oregon. I plan to continue with yak videos, but there are so many other stories to tell here. So in the future, look for more videos on our solar powered straw bale house, backyard gardening, wildlife neighbors, how I connect to our land and region through photography, low-impact travel, and more. I do my best to upload every 7-10 days but may slow down when things get busy on the farmstead.
