Welcome to Nessbert Draws!

I’m Nessbert, your friendly, art-loving lake monster—and a proud cousin of the legendary Nessie! Because I don’t have any hands to draw, I leave that part to my YouTube Co-Host, Franco Ryser! Anyone can draw and we are here to show you how!

From easy step-by-step tutorials to fun art challenges, I’ll help you bring your ideas to life with markers, pencils, watercolors, and more. So grab your art supplies, follow along, and let’s make some magic together!

Nessbert Draws

Every now and then, I share an exclusive video here as part of the Art Post perk for Student Tier and higher.

These videos are very low-key: minimal edits, no talking, usually just me drawing along. I use them to explore new techniques, test new gear, or simply create an artwork.... things that aren’t very algorithm-friendly, but might still be interesting to watch.

In today’s video, I’m playing around with my new acrylic markers and following a simple tutorial on how to draw bushes. It’s surprisingly easy, and I still learned quite a bit about how the markers behave.

Lesson learned: I definitely should have let that last layer dry a bit longer.

But why don't you just watch yourself? The video is right there!

Nessbert Draws

Unfortunately, over the last few days my main video lens broke, and I had to replace it quickly to keep the channel running. In moments like this I am really thankful for all your support... through watching the videos, the ad revenue, and especially for all the direct support on YouTube Memberships and on my Patreon. This was a very unplanned expense, and it definitely hurt.

At the same time, it’s a good excuse for a Creator Diary and a chance to share how I actually film my videos and what equipment I use behind the scenes. This post is available for all members and Patreon supporters now!

Nessbert Draws

My Christmas posting break is finally over, and I want to share something new with you. Over the holidays, I got a set of Arrtx Acrylic Markers, and I’m genuinely excited to put them through a proper test. Before making videos about them, I want to really understand how they behave... colors, layering, techniques, and limitations. For that purpose, I even got myself a dedicated sketchbook just for experimenting and learning before I share any conclusions publicly.

Alongside that, I’ve decided to spend more time simply drawing again. But why waste some content! This means I’ll be posting relaxed timelapses and progress updates exclusively for Patreon supporters and YouTube Members in the Student tier or higher. These will be low-pressure sessions focused on drawing, coloring, and doodling... content that wouldn’t work well as Shorts, but that might still be interesting or inspiring to watch... just music, no talking!

If you enjoy seeing the process rather than just the finished result, this is for you. So stay tuned for that, coming very soon!

Happy New Year 2026 everyone! 🎉

Thank you all so much for an incredible first year on YouTube. Reaching over 57,600 subscribers still feels unreal.

Thank you for every comment, like, share, and view.. your support means a lot to me.

I hope my videos were helpful, entertaining and maybe even inspired you to draw a little more.

Here’s to an even more creative year ahead.

And no worries... the holiday slowdown is officially over.
Tomorrow, it’s time to get back into it!

Merry Christmas to all of you 🎄

Chickie the Art Eggspert got a little too curious and ended up inside the wrapping paper. Perfect chance for a nice Christmas picture!

Thank you for all the support, kindness, and creativity this year... it genuinely means the world to me. I hope you’re having a cozy, peaceful Christmas and if you have some art supplies under the tree, let me know!

Nessbert Draws

Should I Bring Digital Drawing to the Channel? This voting is one of the ones that usually happen amongst my YouTube Members & Patreon Supporters. But I want to get a bigger picture, that's why this time I want to ask all of my viewers out there!

This is one of those questions I had for a long time. Right now everything on the channel is traditional art, but I wonder if you want to see digital art content as well.

Would you like to see digital drawing tutorials, breakdowns, or experiments alongside the traditional ones? Or do you prefer that I keep the channel purely traditional?

Your vote will help me decide, so let me know what you think!

Nessbert Draws

It still feels unreal, but the channel just hit 50,000 subs... and I honestly can’t thank you enough. To celebrate, I’ve created a 50% off coupon for your first month on ANY Patreon membership level!

Just use the code NESS50K at checkout and join me for behind-the-scenes content, art posts, drawing guides, and all the fun extras coming your way. The code is valid for one week!

And speaking of new content… I’m currently just waiting for a certain metal-poster site to approve my upload. I’m very excited, because the moment it goes live, I can finally release one of the “secret” projects I teased earlier!

All Apprentice Level Supporters will get it as a downloadable, printable poster, and you’ll also be able to order it as a metal print. More on that the second the upload switches to Published.

Thank you for making this journey wild in the best possible way. ❤️
Let’s keep drawing!
