Smooth Jazz Saxophonist Grady Nichols

Grady Nichols' high energy shows feature a vast selection of original and cover tunes blending contemporary jazz, pop and A/C styles. His performances move seamlessly from hit smooth jazz tunes like "London Baby!" or "Tuesday Morning," to "Bellissimo," a driving contemporary jazz number. He may then move on to a soulful rendition of Kylie Minogue's hit, "Can't Get You Out Of My Head," Robert Palmer's classic "Every Kind of People," or Journey's "Faithfully."

His sixth CD, Destinations, is a musical vacation dabbling in smooth jazz, blues, country and even reggae. Produced by Chris Rodriguez it features a driving banjo, pedal steel guitar, steel drums, and string section all woven seamlessly into a cohesive contemporary jazz / pop setting. Grammy winner Bill Champlin lends his voice and Hammond B-3 chops on "You Know Me" and Grammy nominee jazz fusion keyboardist Jeff Lorber collaborated on "You With Me."
