So my brother has a different last name than I and on one of his schoolbooks I think? Mom noticed a typo and it said "Butter" instead of "Butler" on it. It's since become a running gag in our household and my stepfather playfully calls him by his first name and then Butter like it was his actual name and joke about him eating all the butter even though he doesn't like it at all lol I just laugh wondering what the people who mistyped would think finding that out

Looking back, I kinda think my old but still in use theory of Jax commiting a shit ton of crimes and then hitting Gangle with a stolen truck in Ep. 4 aged both really bad and also really good. Bad as in there's always discourse over what Jax would and wouldn't do (I don't believe in the hitting a kid theory but mine actually does sound like something he'd do since it's a digital land where they can't die and he's able to do whatever he wants with no repercussions) and it's just more overthinking than MatPat; Good as in I technically predicted a theory that some'd say is "better" or "makes more sense" and it relates to Jax hitting someone with a vehicle at night. But my idea still stands honestly that he'd only do that if it was all in the digital plane and he wouldn't get into shit for it. He'd wanna hit Gangle as revenge for what she did to him earlier on in the day (I'm no Jax defender btw, Gangle deserves far better than that douchenozzle of a guy because she hardly hurt anyone aside from that bit) so seems like it'd make sense tbh

I think this has been the hardest Mom has ever laughed at me. We were watching a video about grandma gift fails and one part of it was filthy and Christmas-related. I muttered to myself "Have you ever heard of Santa's big sack?" (a YTP reference) and she overheard me and cracked the fuck up and told me that it was the funniest thing so far she's ever heard me say. I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of my mother thinking I'm funny and I failed to keep my laughter in lmao this is great

VHS openings before a movie (and sometimes closings after it) will never not be exciting and fun, especially if there are screens that say "Stay Tuned" or "Feature Presentation" right before the movie. If it's like on a long YTP or parody or smth, it makes said video even better! It gives me a sense of childhood whimsy and takes me back to a less stressful time....

COOL FACTS ABOUT EACH ABLEISM AU CHARACTER:

Pomni:
• In the AU, she likes being touched vs. canon. If done right it can soothe her, especially when it's by her girlfriend Ragatha.
• She absolutely DESPISES infantilization, toward others or herself. She feels like she's not taken seriously if anyone does that with her.
• She's medium-needs and wants to be able to do more things herself, but knows that she can't really without assistance. She hopes that she'll live with Ragatha if they all break out and their families accept them being a thing (they totally would) .
• She's openly ashamed of being the "seen as really dumb & weird" type of Autistic instead of the "good at math/science/whatever" type. She's used to masking and acting emotionless in public just to avoid any judgements.
• She's a woman but likes to present masc or androgynous sometimes and at rare points wants to know what it's like to have a [sosig] , at least for a bit.

Jax:
• The reason he's scared of corn is because his sister Betty pulled a prank on him when she was 3 or 4 that involved her making him trip over on his back and shoving some ears in his mouth. Initially this gave him a fear of both corn and squirrels at first, but he then realized that it wasn't their fault, but Betty's, and so he likes the squirrels now but still despises corn. The 2 siblings are sorta frenemies in a sense.
• That happened when his family lived on a farm until when he was 12, they sold it to a family friend.
• He'd be in a friends with benefits relationship with Ribbit if they weren't in the circus. On a slightly related note, he thinks [born] is some of the funniest media to laugh at. The thought of it just tickles his brain and he laughs every time he thinks about it. He's definitely not repulsed by it, it's just comedy in his eyes.
• He's worried about people seeing him as cringy.
• He invented The Deer Game, which is introduced and explained in Chapter 16 and gets a plot point later on.

Ragatha:
• She's actually slightly chubby compared to canon. She's like one of those old-timey southern moms, you get the picture. Her innards are a mixture of stuffing, plastic pellets (like in a Beanie Baby or smth) , and flesh organs. Her pain tolerance is pretty high.
• Her family are legal immigrants from the United States of America. They lived in Central Illinois until moving to Cheeseburg (the country on the alternate Earth it takes place in) when she was 10. Things were getting messy there, so they all thought it'd be best to leave the conflict behind them.
• She has slight guilt over her orientation, but her family and friends don't mind who she is.
• Thrifting, or just looking around places and events that have used items, is one of her favorite things to do and she loves that Pomni also has somewhat an interest in it.
• During her childhood, Emmy was the subject of bullies and being ridiculed for her drop attacks and physical weakness. But Emmy being lovely Emmy would just react with kindness and still offer friendship. Her brother Oscar was always concerned about his sister constantly turning the other cheek and is willing to take down said bullies. She on the other hand thinks it's too much and "really unnecessary" .

Gangle:
• She used to have a crush on Ragatha when she came to the circus, so much so that she'd have very specific fantasies and even wet dreams about her because of all the kind stuff she's said and done before and it really got Gangle going. Ragatha even saved her from Abstracting at one point. She tried to be kind about the refusal to become a thing, but Gangle was heartbroken - and maskbroken too. They forgive each other though and Gangle's proud of Ragatha for being with Pomni, but she still secretly wants someone to take care of her....
• The pseudonym she used when publishing her children's books "Taste the Alphabet: A Scrumptiously Fun Coloring Book" and "The Pizza-Loving Frog Farmer" is D.W. Faye McCarthy.
• Her mom Babette is part French and her dad Edmund is part Japanese, with his mom being a New Yorker. She never knew her father, he dipped as soon as he found out Babette was pregnant, leaving her to try (and succeed to a degree) to be the best mom she can be, giving herself and her kid tails with bells on them so they'd find each other easily. The mom's life was somewhat of a mess in her teen years. She accepts her daughter's fascination in contemporary Japanese culture because she knows not all of Japanese blood are deadbeats like her ex.
• Winter's her and her mom's favorite season as Christmas is their favorite holiday. The 2 would always hold specific traditions whenever the time came around, like making candies and seeing lights in town. She'd even get to pick out one of her gifts to open on Christmas Eve as a preview of sorts. They were always so excited for that time.
• She was treated HORRIBLY at school, both by other kids and even teachers, just for showing emotions. Even when she did nothing wrong, she'd always be abused and bullied by people she thought she could trust. Eventually her mom gave up on those people and homeschooled her starting in 5th grade.

Zooble:
• They're grateful that Ragatha made their GED cuff cover as they hardly had anyone else besides their family, crew, the bosses at the jobs they've worked at, and most of the people they slept with. Everyone else was just being racist toward their species and some would even harass them for no reason.
• They care nothing about themself and only think about what others want/need. Oh how selfless they are....
• They were initially somewhat hateful when they were first dragged into the circus because Caine wouldn't allow them to leave and find more work. They took their anger out on the others, not understanding what Abstraction is as a disease and that Kaufmo was starting to break (they got there a week after Ribbit Abstracted) . At first they kinda hated everyone but over time they figured out all the bad stuff, and then they got over the anger and made sure that the only ones to deserve the hate are Caine & Bubble. They're known to protect Gangle the most since she's most vulnerable, and then the 2 became really good friends (iykyk) ....
• They're a switch but they usually top. They're worried about being vulnerable as a bottom and hardly make any noise in that state, if at all.
• Their species can come in 3 different sexes. Intersex ones are normal but uncommon.

Kinger:
• He and Queenie have 4 kids: Michael (a white bishop) , Sean (a black knight) , Charlie (a white rook [he's a trans man!] ) , and Alex (a black pawn) . They formed a coalition when their parents left to join the circus and all live together in one house.
• He really loves weird cool lamps. They don't falter his memory when he's in the dark with them.
• He usually keeps his bugs in his huge fluffy robe and makes a pillow fort for them to hibernate every winter.
• Given his studies in computer science, he wants to create custom computer systems that aren't greedy or faulty like Windows. He wants to make sure they get constant good updates and are loved by everyone.
• He'd be the kind of guy to make weird trinkets, like a cloche with a stag beetle holding a Flamin' Hot Cheeto.

Caine:
• Since magic exists in this AU, he and Abel both learned it in their youth.
• He named his eyes. Left green is Jeffery, right blue is Jolene. He takes good care of his eyes and sometimes washes them under a sink.
• He doesn't see his slaves as friends or even equals. To him, they're just tools for entertainment and are his way of getting big and the desire to always be right and in control since he was hardly allowed to decide things for himself before.
• He's hired a group of living mannequins, humanlike and animallike, which he "influenced" (mind-controlled) into joining him as secondary assistant performers and unpaid staff.
• He originally named what's now "The Amazing Circus With Special Abilities" as "The Amazing Disabled Circus" . Of course, being the nut he is, he thought a person-first title would be good after the first 6 months.

Bubble:
• To get this outta the way, yes, the "homophobic" meme is canon in this AU. Hypocritical of this, it uses any pronouns.
• It used to be a really sweet guy, always giving advice and grateful for being rescued by the boys. Aut after Abel's death, the only one it can trust is Caine. Its personality turned a complete 180° . It's still silly, but it's now ruthless.
• Speaks backwards once in Chapter 15. SPOILER ALERT: It says the R-word while doing that.
• It dreams of having legs. Arms are cool too, but what it really craves is legs.
• Can be a complete freak at times when it's just it and Caine.
