Julie Dzerowicz 

Julie Dzerowicz was elected as the Member of Parliament for Davenport in 2015, becoming the first woman to represent the riding. She has served on several parliamentary committees and is the Chair of the Canadian NATO Parliamentary Association. She currently holds the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Consular Services & Latin America).

A child of immigrants, she champions equality and opportunity for all Canadians. She introduced legislation for a national guaranteed basic income strategy and successfully passed a bill designating June as Portugal Heritage Month.

Before politics, she spent 20+ years in investment banking and biotech. A climate advocate, she co-founded Project Neutral to help communities transition to net-zero. She holds a B.Comm from McGill and an MBA from UBC. Julie speaks English, French, and Spanish and is learning Portuguese.
