Listening to Scott Goodwill and John Cooper talk through these things shook me in the best way. We’re living in a kairos moment—one of those times when the darkness is loud, but the opportunity for the church to shine is even louder.

It’s heartbreaking to see how far we’ve drifted as a nation when we’ve turned our back on God. And honestly, the church hasn’t always done better—we’ve often softened truth in hopes of fitting in. But the Jesus of the Bible never played it safe. He wasn’t afraid to offend, because real love tells the truth.

What stood out most to me is this: God is pulling away the illusion that we can just be “neutral.” Comfortable Christianity doesn’t cut it anymore. The times are forcing us to decide—are we going to shrink back, or are we going to rise up, stand on His truth, and shine?

Even in the chaos, I’m reminded: God is still sovereign. None of this surprises Him. He’s purifying His church, and He’s calling us to walk boldly, faithfully, and without compromise.
