Samreen here, a social scientist, author, academic and a charity worker. First Pakistani to win John K Fanyo Award🙏
Started my journey as an international student in the UK after securing a post graduate scholarship to pursue an MBA. Based on distinction (A+) in my dissertation, I was encouraged to apply for a PhD scholarship, which I secured successfully and completed my PhD (looking forward to my graduation in Nov 22 🤩). Currently, I am working as a full time academic in the UK.

It has been a tough journey, both personally and professionally to make it in a foreign country so I want to help others on similar paths. The plan is to share my learnings to work smart and being productive along with life in the UK, some of my travels and books.
