This channel is my evolution. I started as Hog-On Welding, grinding in the field. Then came Hog-On University, where I began teaching and passing on the game. Now it’s Hog-On TV—the full story of my journey.

I’m a Black welder, entrepreneur, and artist who went from serving 10 years in Arkansas State Prison to building a career, a business, and a brand in the welding industry. Here you’ll see my start-up grind, my growth, my flaws, and the hustle it takes to turn skill into independence.

From RV tips that went viral, to welding business strategies, to raw conversations about life after incarceration—this channel documents the real path to freedom through skill.

H.O.G.O.N. means Hustling Over Grounded Obstacles Naturally—and that’s the code I live by. My mission is to inspire welders, hustlers, students, and anyone who’s been told there’s no way forward. There is. Welding can be that way.

One of the drugs killing the Black community isn’t talked about enough.
And it’s not illegal.
It’s sugar.🍬

Not because people are weak.
Not because we “don’t care about health.”
But because sugar is normalized, engineered, cheap, and hidden in almost everything we eat.
It’s in the drinks we grew up on.
The snacks marketed to our kids.
The “quick meals” sold in our neighborhoods.
Even the foods labeled healthy.
And the result?

• Diabetes
• Heart disease
• High blood pressure
• Obesity
• Chronic fatigue
• Brain fog
• Shorter lifespans
These aren’t random.
They’re patterns.

Sugar spikes your energy, then crashes it.
It affects mood, focus, patience, and discipline.
Over time, it weakens the body and the mind.
That matters—because you can’t build wealth, stability, or legacy
in a body that’s constantly inflamed and exhausted.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about awareness.
Reading labels.
Questioning what we were taught was “normal.”
Making better choices when we can.
Teaching the next generation earlier than we were taught.

A tired community is easier to control.
A sick community is easier to exploit.
A clear-minded, energized community is dangerous—in the best way.

This isn’t just a health conversation.
It’s a freedom conversation.
