I'm just learning about the @dwarflabofficial Draco. It makes me both happy and very sad.
Happy to see something like this come to market.
Very sad because if I had the resources back in 2018/2019, I would have beat them to it. I had a 100mm F/5 Cat design back then, and never made it past a one off prototype. (see image) Had even figured out how to get it faster than an F/5 for 1in sensors.
While I'll never be able to afford the Draco, if done right, their design will surprise a lot of people. Best of luck Dwarflab!
21:43:07 - That light you see coming up from the bottom, to the left of "W", is a legitimate UAP! It is NORAD tracked object 84232, and is officially listed as "UNKNOWN".
I haven't done much astro in months. Mostly because I'm tired of fighting the LP here. This is a single 5s exposure from my sky cam with the custom LP filter removed. It's gotten so bad that I can even read by the sky glow.
I was really looking forward live streaming my all sky at 4K (or even 1440P). Sadly this will not happen due to the data cap that Cox Cable attaches to the tier required to get 35mbps upload speeds. So if my internet was working the way it should the all sky live stream would eat through the allowed data in a matter of days.
That's a bummer as I was really looking forward to having the only 4K all sky live stream on Youtube.
Once the upload bandwidth issue is resolved, and Astro Time streaming is done, I plan on doing an instructional video or possibly a live stream. It will be about taking the production quality of your astronomy live streams to the next level.
It will be based on what I've observed on other live streams, questions that folks like @ShamrockBanksObservatory asked me about, and more.
So stay tuned, hit that notification bell, and spread the word! Also, let me know in the poll which format you would like to see this in.
I apologize about not having the sky cam running, and really sorry I have not done the Astronomy Time private stream for those that donated. I'm fighting my ISP to get anything close to the service I'm paying for. Once this is resolved I'll make sure the Astronomy Time folks are taken care of.
Meanwhile I'm getting a "it's your hardware" response from my ISP while the trace and pings look like this. Anything after hop 1 is their hardware and not mine.

Storms and clouds forecast for the next couple nights. In the meantime, I have a question. Which would you rather see:
A: Low frame rate (3-4fps). More stars, meteors, and satellites. However, meteors become lines instead of moving objects.
B: What I've been live streaming so far (30fps). Fewer stars, meteors, and satellites. Yet you get to watch meteors streak across the sky.
