Start Smart. Build Right. Win Government Contracts.

January 1st—register your LLC and commit to the long game.
Operate your business consistently for at least two years, focus on delivering quality work, and build a strong professional network. Many government contracts require professional references, and some won’t even consider businesses with less than two years of operating history.

Stay compliant at all times:

Pay your state fees on time to keep your business active and in good standing

Carry general liability insurance

Maintain a professional website—yes, they will check to verify you’re legitimate

Do the groundwork first. When you’re ready to apply, you’ll be positioned to win—not scramble.
