Continuation of the previous Dragon Ball Goku glaze post.
Again, ik y'all are sick and tired of me talking about the Goku glaze. And Ik y'all think it's a boring topic to talk about, I know. But I'm telling you, to this day people still believe he's "12D at least" or "Outerversal" or that he solos everything. In the big 2025 too.
Like I said, if it's all the jaz people bring up, like his clash with Jiren (which I'd say is the ONLY reason why he's so overhyped again), then again, Goku can't even solo his own verse. Again, the only reason why I think Goku is going back to being overhyped is because of his fight between him and Jiren which resulted in catastrophic events.
It's funny how people say that Goku is 12D or higher. Yet they're the same people who go out of their way and say Marvel and DC are only 5D to 6D at best. Even though stuff like The One Above All, Knull, The Darkest Knight, having a world tree greater than God of War's world tree completely say otherwise. Look, the DB cosmology is no joke, can't deny it, but saying it's a greater Cosmo than any other Cosmo (especially Marvel & DC) is absolutely wild.
I want to take a break from DB glaze, I really do. But it's hard to do that when you got these anomalies going around using the same crappy Hyper to Outer stuff over and over again.
Not even a full week and yet people are already dunking on the new Supergirl teaser....
Look, I'm not trying to be 1 of those Gunnbros that glazes anything made by James Gunn, but this hate is so forced. Like wdym it's a "GoTG rehash" y'all realize, those movies did not invent space battles, they did not invent comedy, they didn't even invent quirky aliens who lost their home planet.
People had a big fit over Kara getting drunk and "s##ting" on her cousin Superman, like seriously? That's literally her character in the comics, especially in the Woman of Tomorrow comic where she has these exact moments seen in the trailer.
There's a lot more big fits people had like how Kara's jacket is "covering" her superhero persona, even though she literally wore this jacket in Woman of Tomorrow as well. Or how she's too much like Superman, even though she is actually a lot more different than Clark than just being similar to him. Or how other versions like THE FREAKING CW or DCEU had better interpretations...
Look, I do like CW's version, it's an underrated version of Kara. But I'm not going pretend like that show didn't fall off at some point and completely stripped everything that made Supergirl unique. As for DCEU's version, she's also awesome, I'd argue Sasha's version of the character is what carried the horrid mess that is 2023's The Flash. But even that isn't enough because she has like no depth to her character, has very little screen time, and then just dies.. to Zod.
It's fine to not like something, but for the love of God, it's only a teaser, at least wait for more content coming.

Let me guess, is it because of the otherworld stuff, and how it's a full on 5D or higher construct? Or the Macrocosm and the fact that it has infinite universes which have branches of timelines? Or how the afterlife is said to have no concept of space and time? Or the world of void somehow being an outerversal construct and Goku's UI form can shake it? Or any of that jazz?
If so then Imma tell you right now. Goku doesn't even scale half of the Cosmo stuff people bring up (or maybe kinda but then people will have to do even more explaining). Maybe the Gods of Dragon Ball do, but if I learned anything from the Goku vs Beerus fight, or even the Goku vs Jiren fight, then literally even the Gods, Angels, etc aren't even the full on strongest or the most powerful in the verse. That title would go to Xeno himself and that's only because he set this s##t up, he even destroyed 1 universe just to prove a point so...
