I’m officially done with people defending hyper consumption at this point. I pulled this paddling pool out of the sea this morning on my walk! 😩 If the likes of Temu weren’t selling this kind of tat for £2, people wouldn’t see it as single-use and disposable.

I can’t tell you how much this means to me. This channel has been through a lot over the years and it’s reflected all the different stages of my life as I’ve changed and grown.
What started as a wannabe beauty channel (which is hilarious because hello - I have no makeup skills), followed me through graduating university, emigrating to three different countries, getting engaged, getting un-engaged, decluttering my life, and slowly but surely becoming the version of me I am right now.
2025 has been my favourite year on YouTube so far. I feel like I’ve grown so much as a creator and a person in the last 6 months (cheesy but true) and finally hitting the 20k milestone that always felt so far away is a huge moment for me!
Thank you to my incredible subscribers, whether you’ve been here since the Kuwait days (or before!) or if you’ve recently joined the party. It makes me so happy to know you’re enjoying my content. How lucky am I to have 20,000 internet besties?! 🥰

Anyway, this morning I thought about doing an old-school favourites video. Think YouTube circa 2013 when everyone would sit cross-legged on the floor and gush about how much they loved the Revlon Colourstay Lip Crayons.

I'm about to say something I never thought I'd say - I'm halfway through training for a 10k 😱
I've bee vlogging the whole process to make a video but I'm only halfway through and it's already pretty hefty! I can't decide whether to split it into two videos or just make one longer one that has the process from start to finish. What would you rather? 🤔
