Hello and welcome to my channel! My name is Karen and my husband and I live on a small farm in the Midwest. I recently retired from teaching elementary school and am now able to enjoy doing the things I love everyday. Whether it's cooking, gardening, quilting, canning, home remodeling, I love to keep busy and constantly learn new things. I also love to teach others about these things. I began my youTube channel to share our family's favorite recipes with my family and friends who would ask for my recipes. Hey, friends!! Just finished designing this 10" squirrel quilt block. This is my practice block to make sure my cutting directions are correct. I think it turned out really cute! What do you think? Just waiting for some fabrics that I ordered then I'll do a video tutorial and share the free cutting instructions and block layout image!
