ISIASH 53 was changed to fit Christian doctrine
It is highly unlikely that Joseph and Mary understood Isaiah 53 in the specific way that Christians teach it today, as a detailed, explicit prophecy of Jesus' atoning death and resurrection during his lifetime. The Christian interpretation was developed after the crucifixion and resurrection by Jesus' followers, who looked to the scriptures to understand these events.

THE BROKEN SPIRIT AND SACRIFICE: 🚫 HUMAN SACRIFICE
* When offerings became a substitute for righteousness: The prophets warned that God couldn't stand their feasts and sacrifices when they "trample His courts" with iniquity, meaning the rituals were empty without justice and moral obedience.
* When the purpose was fulfilled: Moses told the Israelites to stop bringing materials for the Tabernacle because they had given more than enough, showing that giving was voluntary and ceased when the need was met.
What God Truly Desired:
* Justice and righteousness: As seen in Amos 5:24, God said, "Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream".
* A repentant and humble spirit: Psalms 40:6 states, "In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear," contrasting rituals with true obedience to God's law.
In essence, God didn't want sacrifices to stop forever, but He demanded they be given with the right heart, motivated by love and obedience, not as a religious duty or a way to cover up unrighteous behavior.

HOW ISRAEL VIOLATED THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM
Even if Christians like to reject this thesis, I see it as absolutely provable that the mythology of Christianity is a result of syncretism. Almost all the motifs in this mythology already existed in older mythologies which were probably still widespread among scholars at the time of the invention of Christianity.
For example, motifs such as the resurrection from the dead, the virgin birth, the healing of diseases, etc. They already existed in mythologies that were also common in the area, such as the underworld.

THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM ABUSED: Old covenant

ISRAELITES should not believe a future sacrifice will establish a new covenant; rather, they should see the existing covenant renewed through repentance, prayer, and good deeds.
Christians believe Jesus's ultimate sacrifice fulfilled prophecies for a new covenant. Israel abused the sacrificial system. Hosea 8:11-13
Sacrifice established the first covenant, the Lord expressed through many the prophets, and clearly, he desires obedience more than sacrifices.
We have no clear quote from any prophet that a sacrifice is needed for the second covenant, because that part was suppose to change, along with us knowing what the lord requires now, with his law written on our hearts.
