On the road to success!

It's been a great year and I wanted to share some successes we're starting this month to move into 2026.

The show is now on Spotify and a music channel will be added to share the music content (while protecting the copyrights).

I hope you'll also bear with me as we start expanding out to other channels and try to really push things up we'll be adding Reels and Shorts along with other channels and updating those other platforms with content on a regular basis. The hope is to be able to do that while continuing to produce a Friday show.

I'm working on a subscription program and apparel items. So stay tuned.

Many folks ask how to push our channel up the algorithm in support.

The best ways to do that are to watch the whole video, hit the thumbs up and comment on the video.

BUT, YouTube has added an additional feature called HYPE to videos.

Below each video is a Hype button that you can use to add points to each video and that will push the video up the algorithm and I'm being told it helps a lot. There are even weekly challenges.

I need to let everyone know a couple of things...

First I apologize for not responding to a lot of comments. For some reason YouTube no longer sends me notifications that you are commenting and because I'm very busy fighting zombies in the workforce I was never advised. I'm trying to catch up, but most are going to slip through the cracks.

Second, YouTube continues to slowly throttle the content and you may not get notifications. It could be because we are real and not AI, don't post enough garbage content or shorts, but I think it's more that we actually deal with real life serious scenarios, situations, and discussions that they don't believe you're adult enough to handle.
(then they ask me to take a survey of what my experience is like... sigh)

So how do we combat this and get the word out of the zombie apocalypse to help those in denial?
Make sure you subscribed and have the bell notifications! Most importantly, share! Anything helps. If a view is all you have, keep it up. I post every Friday at 9 PM, but at some point I hope to put another day on the week. I have been lax to create a subscription option, but maybe that's what I should do in the future and put in special content to support it. Let me know what you think.

I want to post more, but unfortunately I have to have a 7 to 6 (instead of a 9 to 5) that pays the bills and it limits how much I can post or even function. It's a job that can actually make me physically ill. Not just talking sick and tired, but actually sick and has done so for the past 9 months or so. Still, I'm trying to figure it out so I can make more time and do more stuff with you folks that I think you'd all love.

So why am I so interested in building this channel? Forgive me if I say it too much but you folks deserve it; Thank you from the bottom of my heart for ALL your support! Some of you come in just to comment to move a video up the algorithm and it means a lot. Some have given me exceptional constructive criticism and then followed up to say thank you for listening and I hope you know you're appreciated. I can count on one hand the number of bad comments I've received. The support has been a tidal wave and I've hated it when I was too sick to post, recovering from surgery, or life got in the way and its you that has kept me going when I was considering giving up.

When I started this it was just a passion project. A lifetime of training mixed with my interest for the zombie apocalypse and how it's made so many people better. Makes you think about how to prepare, how to survive. It could've started the first time I watched Dawn of the Dead in theaters, a spark hanging out in my grandfather's fallout shelter with a crank washing machine and walls of canned foods lining the room. Who knows? The question, what would the end look like and would we be ready? How would it really happen? Now I know first hand because unlike writers that can surmise badly, I've drilled it. I remember the first time a director said, "you know we have a procedure for the zombie apocalypse, right?" Yea, that was probably the final nail in the coffin so to speak. Let's just say he's a viewer of our fine content and highly approves. As they say, real life is always stranger than fiction.

Now I have a shared universe with all of you. It's been fulfilling to have people from around the world join me in surviving the zombie pandemic together, and hopefully in the darkness found hope to carry on. It's certainly created its own allegory that I never intended, but is real all the same.

This is to all you survivors out there! I salute your success, drink to your survival and toast to your future. May we leave no one behind. If the broadcast at some point fails. If it falls into darkness and this world does come to an end. Remember I may have wrote this world, but it was you that made it real.

I tried to get a video out for today and it just wasn't to be. I want a big production and I'll work on it for next week. Gotta keep up with the AI bots and being throttled by YouTube for zombie content. haha!

I want to wish everyone a great Father's Day!!!

I also want to say thank you to everyone for being patient with me, sticking with the channel, and to the new followers we have watching the show. All your great input is awesome and very much appreciated!!!

I did end up in the emergency room again, but thanks to my loyal team I was able to bounce back much faster and not miss a single episode! I just jumped back on to send some hearts out and reply to comments!

I've been trying to give everyone what they wanted with a long show and I'll continue to work on that!!! The big ones are a lot of work. It'll be a flashback episode, but I think everyone will love it.

We've been asked about zombie apparel and although I do want to say yes, I want to ask you, the viewers if you would have any interest in some designer zombie t-shirts or hats. Something we can start small with and if there's interest we can expand on it a little more.
