Today’s service was a powerful reminder that every believer needs the Holy Spirit to live a victorious Christian life.
Pastor shared from the Scriptures that believing in Jesus and water baptism are foundational, but God desires every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit for power, guidance, boldness, and a deeper walk with Him.
The Word showed us through the lives of the believers in Samaria, Ephesus, and Cornelius that the Holy Spirit is God’s promise for every believer.
We were reminded that the Holy Spirit:
• Empowers us to be witnesses for Christ.
• Guides us into all truth.
• Teaches and comforts us.
• Convicts us of sin and leads us into holiness.
• Gives spiritual gifts according to God’s will.
• Seals us as children of God and dwells within us.
As we responded in faith, many experienced the presence of God and were encouraged to seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit with open hearts and complete surrender.
