Just dropped a full review on Fatekeeper... a brand new first-person dark fantasy RPG that just hit Steam. It looks like a AAA powerhouse, but it's actually made by a tiny team of 13 people and only costs $8 right now.
I ran it through its paces on my 7900 XTX and have some thoughts on the combat, the Souls like mechanics, and the performance.

Yo, what’s going on everybody! 🌴 I just spent over two and a half hours in the Hell Let Loose: Vietnam open beta and uploaded my full thoughts. The gunplay feels surprisingly accessible, but we need to talk about that fast-travel tunnel system and the crazy bloom 😅. Mobile graphics have gotten absolutely insane (Control: Ultimate Edition on the iPhone 17 looks unbelievable!), but there's a massive catch... it turns into a heater in about 10 minutes. 🔥
Because phones are passively cooled, thermal throttling completely kills the performance on heavy games. Do you think smartphones will EVER figure out their thermal management, or will dedicated handhelds always be king?
