WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY THE DAY OF APPRECIATING GUIDANCE
Behind every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every dream pursued, there is a teacher who believed, guided, and inspired. Today, we honour the teachers who shape minds, nurture character, and leave a lasting mark far beyond the classroom.
Today, we celebrate the laughter that fills our days, the dreams that shape tomorrow, and the boundless imagination that makes every childhood unforgettable.
A Blessed Binara Poya Day! The Start of the Bhikkhuni Order
This day reminds us of the spreading of the Four Noble Truths by extraordinary women. From Queen Prajapati to Princess Anula, society once dictated that their spiritual potential was limited. The Buddha famously overturned this, proving that true enlightenment, and the wisdom to teach it to others belongs to absolutely everyone.
May this profound step in Buddhism empower you to realise your own boundless potential, no matter who you are or who you aspire to be. Have a truly splendid day!
