Edit: I didn’t realize discord is becoming Orwellian. Lmao the literal week I set everything up. Finding an alternative and I’ll keep you posted *kendrick Lamar scream*
Gonna keep it a bean, these last few weeks have been HORRIBLE because of the Epstein files being released. They're not redacting victims, or photos, and it's psychological warfare. It's being done on purpose. Being a survivor just means being in a constant state of rage and sadness. As a result, I missed this Sunday's stream :(
I will be streaming this Sunday morning before my DJ gig, which I'd love to invite you to:
CALLING ALL REGGAE PEOPLE IN NYC
If you can find joy in these hard times, do what you can. Dance, sing, cry - and make sure you connect with your loved ones.
I’ll be streaming on Sundays, usually at 11am EST until I get sleepy/hungry (4-5 hours is usually my mark). See you this Sunday!
Second thing:
A YouTube community member needs our help. Here’s their message -
“I need this money to pay for upcoming bills and utilities until I get paid from my minimum wage job since right now I have almost nothing in my account and I need this money so I can pay for those bills.”
Can you spare $5/$10/$20 to help them stay affloat?
I've been wanting to pivot from video essays because people think I am a debate bro or a hot-take machine, when I'm just an artist who is observant and annoyingly curious. But I am back in the lab and starting to write some scripts.
I made a Black History month playlist of all of my videos related to black history, black radical thought and black art for you to enjoy in the meantime.
The first post is exactly what me and others keep trying to explain - we know this is how many Americans feel. She said it mask off but I know this is the real sentiment of many non black Americans, just with more decorum than her.
The fascism against black people and their bodies was normal and not fascism to you because you weren’t included. Jim Crow wasn’t fascism, somehow. Segregation, redlining and corruption was not fascism, somehow. You didn’t care when it was just us for decades. Not just in 2020. Not just in 2016. But since 1492.
If you justify state violence once, you’re justifying it always. You could sleep during 2020, I couldn’t. You could sleep in 2016. I couldn’t. Or in 2014. Or in 2009. Now we are all losing sleep.

engaging with people like they are dumb is probably making people not want to organize with you, comrade!
people explaining things simply doesn't mean they are uninformed, it means they are being equalizing in their language.
get you some of that lol

Another YouTube community member needs our support!
Their father was kidnapped and arrested by ICE. Their family is asking for support to raise money to bring Gerardo home.
Please share far and wide and anything you can donate counts!
