Stopped by another one of our favorite Vancouver Island Attractions, The Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea. Although this is a small aquarium, it's extremely well done and a great place for kids to discover our coastal marine life!

The Victoria Butterfly Gardens is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Victoria area and is home to a variety of butterflies, birds, fish, frogs, guana, geckoes and tortoises!

While in Victoria, we stopped in to see the driftwood sculptures at Esquimalt Lagoon. These incredible creations are the work of local artist Paul Lewis and include a variety of birds and animals as well as the impressive figure of McGnarly the Beach Ent.

I finally did it! After two years of and thousands of steps, I officially finished the 4,000 km Pacific Crest Trail Virtual Challenge. Crossing that virtual finish line and earning this stunning medal is such an incredible feeling, especially since this journey has been a part of my daily life for so long.

I am absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Adam the Woo. Adam was a pioneer of travel YouTube videos and a huge inspiration for many of us that run travel channels. Although I never had the chance to meet him personally, his videos brought hours of entertainment to so many people around the world. Sending my thoughts to his close friends and others in the community. RIP Adam - I hope I can go on many more adventures for you, I won't even ask your mom ❤️

Just posted a video tour of the Lumiere Light and Art Festival in Vancouver. This free, outdoor celebration aims to brighten the city during the dark winter days. The festival transforms public spaces across Downtown,with a series of public light installations, projections and artworks from local and international artists. Many of the installations are interactive, allowing the public to engage with the art through movement, touch, and music.
