私の愛するブラジルのみなさんへ

今回リオグランデ・ド・スル州の災害に遭われた方々に、何かできないかなと考えた際に、音楽を通して1日も早い復興を願いたいという想いで、すぐにピアノ久保田響くんと『Desejo〜願い〜』を創りました。

2006年、はじめてブラジルへ歌いに行きました。　
歌手活動を続けていく難しさを感じている私に、言葉も国も超えて、ブラジルのみんなが一緒に『地球ぎ』という曲を歌ってくれたことを今でも忘れていません。
そこから18年間、たくさんブラジルに行き、歌わせていただきました。
音楽を通して誰かの心に寄り添うことができたら幸いです。
一日も早い復興を願いながら

今日は乳がん術後の
定期検診
形成外科へ1年ぶりに行ってきました。
Today's post-surgery breast cancer
regular check-up
I went to the plastic surgeon for the first time in a year.

ちょうど10月は、ピンクリボンの月間だなぁと、海外公演の際、飛行機の紙ナプキンなどを見ながら、しみじみ思っていたのでした。
I was thinking deeply that October is the Pink Ribbon month, as I looked at the paper napkins on aeroplanes when I was on overseas tours.


7年前の11月に乳がんの手術を受け
そこから毎年の定期検診。
途中、乳房再建手術も経験。
この時期になると、入院していた頃を思い出します。
寝ている病室の窓から見える飛行機✈️
『あぁ、またいつか飛行機に乗って、歌いに行けたら良いな。いや、げんきになって行くんだ』
と思いながら、今まで近くにあったものが、遠くに感じるあの感覚。
Seven years ago in November, I underwent surgery for breast cancer.
From there, I had regular check-ups every year.
On the way, she also experienced breast reconstruction surgery.
This time of year reminds me of when I was in hospital.
Aeroplanes seen from the window of the hospital room where I was sleeping: ✈️
'Oh, I hope one day I can get on an aeroplane again and go singing. 'No, I'll go in good spirits.'
I remember that feeling of being far away from something that used to be so close to me, thinking.

今この瞬間に同じような気持ちでいる方がいらっしゃるかもしれないなぁとかも思ったり。
I wonder if there are people who feel the same way at this very moment.

出来たら、そのような経験はしたくないけれど、
経験したからこそ、
『生きている』ことについて
あらためて、しっかり感じることができた気がします。
病気を経験する前と、いろんなことに対して思う感覚は変わりました。
前より、濃く生きてる感じがします。
で、あとでやっておけばよかったと
極力思わないようにw
さらに茨道にも探検へ行くようになりました。w

これからもお宝を探しに
茨道の探検は続いっていく♡

If I could, I wouldn't want to experience such a thing,
But now that I have experienced it,
I feel that I have a renewed sense of 'being alive'.
I feel that because I experienced it, I was able to feel again how it feels to be alive.
The way I feel about many things has changed since before I experienced the illness.
I feel more intensely alive than before.
I don't wish I had done it later.
