There are seasons when the road ahead feels unclear — yet even in those moments, God is still leading.
The unseen path is God’s invisible route that leads to visible glory.

Discerning between cultural myths and biblical truth for healthy, godly relationships.

World is filled with myths about love and marriage.

These myths create false expectations → lead to pain.

God’s truth brings freedom (John 8:32).

MYTHS VS. GOD’S TRUTH

1. Myth: “If we’re truly in love, everything will just work out.”

Truth: Love must be intentional, guided by wisdom.

Proverbs 24:3; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

2. Myth: “My partner should complete me.”

Truth: Only Christ completes you. Spouse complements, not completes.

Colossians 2:10; Genesis 2:18


3. Myth: “A good relationship has no conflict.”

Truth: Conflict is normal. What matters is handling it God’s way.

Ephesians 4:26; Proverbs 15:1

4. Myth: “Marriage will solve my loneliness/struggles.”

Truth: Marriage doesn’t heal wounds — God does.

Psalm 147:3; Galatians 5:22-23

5. Myth: “If it’s God’s will, it will be easy.”

Truth: God’s will may face trials, but His grace sustains.

James 1:2-4; Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

CONCLUSION:
THE RIGHT FOUNDATION

Relationships built on myths collapse.

Those built on God’s Word endure.

Between promise and performance lies a season of waiting, testing, and trusting.

KEY POINTS.

1. GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF PROMISES

Unlike man, God never fails. His promises are eternal.

2. FAITH IS THE BRIDGE

Hebrews 11:1; Romans 4:20–21
Believe, confess, and stand on His word.

3. OBEDIENCE ACTIVATES THE PROMISE

Deuteronomy 28:1–2; John 2:5
Some promises require action (e.g., Naaman – 2 Kings 5:14).

4. GOD PERFORMS HIS WORD

Jeremiah 1:12; Philippians 1:6
God Himself brings His word to pass—He is the performer.

5. PERFORMANCE GLORIFIES GOD

John 11:40; Genesis 21:6
Fulfilled promises become testimonies that glorify Him.

CONCLUSION

All God’s promises are Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).
Our part: Believe, Obey, and Wait Patiently (Joshua 21:45).

1. Lord, let there be a performance of every promise You have spoken over my life.
2. Father, give me faith, obedience, and patience to walk into my testimonies.
