You know HR. But can you HANDLE HR?

Your manager says:

“This employee has been underperforming for months. I want to terminate them. Please handle it.”

You know what performance management is. You know what a PIP is.

But what do you actually do next?

What do you ask? What documentation do you check? When should HR push back? What are the risks? What do you document?

This is the gap between knowing HR and handling HR.

On 15 August, I'm conducting the HR Judgment Lab — a live case-solving workshop where I'll put you inside messy workplace situations where the answer isn't obvious.

You make the HR call first.

Then we'll break down the decision together — what you missed, what you assumed, what questions you should have asked, the risks involved, and how an experienced HR professional would approach it.

No definitions. No HR theory lecture. You practise making the decision.

Designed primarily for HR / Recruitment / TA / HR Ops professionals with roughly 6 months–2 years of experience.

Something just changed on this channel — and it's for you.

Until now, this community was mostly me talking and you commenting. That changes today.

You can now post here.
- Your questions.
- Your wins.
- Your "I have no idea if I'm doing this right" moments.
- Your first offer moments.
- Your first terrible manager.
- Your first time sitting in an exit interview and not knowing what to say.
- Any scam interview email

This space is for all of it.

I built HR Destination because I kept seeing the same thing — brilliant people who chose HR, worked hard, and still felt like they were figuring it out alone.

You don't have to figure it out all alone, we have each other.. 💚

So here's where we start:

Tell me — what's the one thing about HR that nobody properly explained to you when you were starting out?

Drop it below. I read everything.

Someone asked me:

“Is it okay to have a career gap in HR?”

Short answer:
Yes.

But here is the uncomfortable truth.

A career gap is usually NOT what hurts candidates.

This is:

Spending ₹80k –₹1.5L on HR certifications…
…and still not being able to explain what an HR actually does in real life.

I have seen candidates with 3 certifications struggle in interviews.
Why?
Because their answers sound textbook.

And I have seen candidates with zero certifications land HR jobs…
simply because they understood how HR actually works inside a company.

Here is the truth:
Companies do not reject career gaps.

They reject *weak HR understanding*.

If you cannot confidently talk about:

• Recruitment
• Payroll
• Performance management
• Policies
• Employee issues

…the gap becomes an excuse to REJECT you.

*The real problem is the MISSING foundation.*

That is exactly why I built my HR Foundation Course.
Not another certificate.
Just practical HR.

The stuff companies actually expect you to know.

Most HR interviews are not failed because you don’t know HR.

They are failed because
👉 you don’t know what exactly will be asked
👉 and how to answer it without sounding blank or theoretical

I’ve seen this again and again.

People prepare for days…
but the moment one practical question is asked — they freeze.

That’s exactly why I created:

👉 80+ HR Interview Questions with Exact Answer Direction

Not Google questions.
Not theory.

These are the kind of answers that actually get you selected.

If you’re preparing right now, this will save you a lot of confusion.

Many of you have been asking me for a long time:

“When will you start live sessions again?”

So here it is.

I’m opening applications for a live cohort where we will unpack how HR careers actually grow in the real corporate world — which paths have long-term value, what skills truly matter, and how to position yourself for stronger roles.

This is not a webinar.
It’s a 4-week guided cohort focused on helping you get clearer about your HR career direction, identify the gaps holding you back, and understand how to grow strategically in HR.

📅 Starts: 21 March
⏰ Time: Saturdays, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM IST
👥 Seats: Limited (small cohort)

If you are an MBA HR student, fresher, or early-career HR professional trying to understand how HR careers actually grow, this might help you build much clearer direction.

Applications are now open.

Most early HR professionals who reach out to me aren’t confused because they lack ability.
They’re stuck because they don’t know what to do next.
- Stay or switch?
- Which HR role actually fits?
- Which college to do MBA from, or even do MBA at all?
- Why growth not happening despite effort?
- What kind of companies will pay good?

If you’re stuck on one clear career decision and overthinking it, you can write to me directly.

This is 1:1 text-based guidance.
You share your situation. I respond with:
- clear direction
- what to focus on next
- what to stop wasting time on

No generic advice. Just clarity for your situation.

If you want to move forward instead of staying stuck, this will save you time and mental energy.

Most HR beginners & early HR professionals are not stuck because they don’t work hard.
They’re stuck because they don’t know what to do next.

- Too many roles.
- Too much advice.
- Too much overthinking.
- Too much confusion.

So I’m opening a small-group Live HR Career Decision Room.

- This is not a class.
- This is not training.
- This is not theory.

It’s a live clarity session where you bring your real HR career questions — and leave with one clear next move.

📌 Role confusion
📌 Skill direction
📌 “Am I wasting my time?” doubts
📌 HR growth & switch decisions
📌 No question is "silly question" here, your clarity is of highest priority.

🗓 Live on Zoom | ⏰ 2 hours (Saturday, 24th Jan 2026)
👥 Limited seats (small group only)

If you’ve been circling the same HR questions for months, this is for you.
