I'm Sully and welcome to my Gig Archive, where Live Music Matters
Live music has really helped my mental health since I re-embraced it in 2017. I feel passionately that artists and venues need our support more than ever. This channel is a labour of love and a chance to share those performers that mean something to me regardless of their stature.
Join me on my travels, where the only rules for this channel are that only bands and artists that I personally enjoy will feature (no chasing views on the latest trend) and never film the entire concert (just a select few songs).
You'll find videos of stadium rockers like Muse, Coldplay and Foo Fighters, indie bands such as Circa Waves, Blossoms and Red Rum Club, some heavier stuff like Enter Shikari and Halestorm, as well as some calmer tunes like Michael Kiwanuka and Another Sky. And that's all just for starters. There's also some Eurovision too, my guilty pleasure.
Please subscribe and share the content, thanks for visiting!

Happy New Year! Hopefully 2026 can be a better year for everyone (although to be honest we've probably been saying that for the past five).
Starting next week, there will be a new series of shorts for this year called 'From The Vault'. I've been going through my files and found a bunch of clips which were filmed before I started uploading shorts featuring artists and bands that have featured on this channel before, as well as some brand new names. Currently got 36 shorts uploaded and scheduled (possibly a few more too) so most Thursdays this year you'll see a throwback to the past.
Looking forward to another year of live music, currently three shows booked and at some point this year I should reach my 100th gig since November 2017. Hope you'll continue to follow my journeys so subscribe to the channel where #LiveMusicMatters

As 2025 comes to a close, I'm really pleased to say that a few days ago this channel reached two milestones. Across all videos, this channel has had 200,000 views and been watched for 3,000 hours! So thank you for watching and subscribing, this is a passion project and I appreciate those who take the time to watch.
Been to eleven shows this year, a couple fewer than previous years. First time seeing Snow Patrol and The Lottery Winners, as well as the Radio 1 New Music Live show which was probably the best of the year with four great bands. Also finally caught Bastille, 12+ years after seeing them support Muse, although the sound at the gig wasn't the best. And the final tour by You Me at Six. Got a few tickets so far for next year, I've focused on seeing acts I haven't seen before (which is a shrinking list when you look through my videos).
You can view a recap of 2025 in this playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
I've been working on a collection of shorts with some hidden gems, which I'll talk about in the new year.
Wishing you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Easter! Don't eat too many Creme Eggs at once (even if they are definitely smaller).
First set of shows for the year complete, a quiet April before things pick up again, so some extra content from last year will be appearing over the next few weeks. Highlights for me were Enter Shikari's gig which was top quality and the staging of it had clearly been well-thought out, and Red Rum Club who are extremely underrated and did an amazing job.
Getting more views compared to this time last year which is a bonus, while this is a passion project I would appreciate any new subscribers (been stuck on 199 for a while) and visiting the channel to see what's new, as long as there is enough interest I'll keep uploading.

Happy New Year! 2023 was a strong year for this channel, eight times more views and subscribers with a raft of new videos, and I've been able to see some great artists and bands along the way.
Thank you if you have subscribed, please spread the word as I'd like to really boost the subscriber count, it's a passion project for me and I've been spending the year improving the look and quality of the videos I've been releasing, so would greatly appreciate more people watching. Also do check out the Instagram channel, hasn't really caught on so might end up dropping it.
January on this channel will see some previous unreleased performances from Editors and Lissie, plus some shorts from the archive. All scheduled in so can put my feet up for a bit.
Already got tickets to seven shows (so far) in 2024, some are bands I've seen before but also some new faces. So stay tuned to this channel for more throughout the year.

Had a quieter few months since my last concert, but ready to head out again to see some more great live music, most of which will be for the first time. So stay tuned for brand new content.
Also started posting content to Instagram, with some shorter clips as well as some stuff that hasn't been uploaded here yet, so do follow me there if you can. Uploaded for all nine shows I've seen this year and it makes for a great lineup.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Fair to say that my channel's stats are looking a bit more healthier after quite a hectic May/June, 150+ subs and over 100k views, so thank you for that! Please do share this channel with your friends.
Going to be a quieter summer for new content, so to fill the gap I've once again been going through my files and got a bunch of footage from 2021/2022 which I'd love to share. Aiming to release 2 or 3 videos every fortnight from now until the end of September, also going to experiment with some Shorts videos and will be adding subtitles to some of my existing uploads.

Great to see my Eurovision content doing so well, heading towards 16k views this week and smashing all sorts of records for my channel, super happy. There would have been one more for Cyprus but it got blocked sadly.
If you have only seen this channel because of Eurovision please do check out my other videos, might be something that takes your fancy.

Eurovision week for me, first semi final rehearsal done and the second coming tomorrow, having watched it for so many years it's been a joy to witness it in person, and it also gives another perspective then just what you see on television. Also amazing to see Liverpool embracing the contest with the branding all over the place.
Would like to have started uploaded videos but the Wifi in the hotel isn't the best so will have more content over the weekend.

Brand new content for the start of the month. Last night had the pleasure of seeing Sam Ryder live, really good show and a nice touch for him to walk down the queue before the doors opened and fist bumped everyone.
If you're a fan of Sam because of Eurovision then you may want to come back to this channel during Eurovision week, I will be attending some of the rehearsal shows so hope to get some footage.
More archive videos coming later this month. Thanks again for visiting this channel, please like and subscribe.
