Welcome to MEND (Muslim Engagement & Development)! We are a non-profit NGO that is focused on tackling Islamophobia in all of its manifestations throughout the UK. We work with policymakers, statutory agencies, local councils, police forces, civil society organisations in the UK and Europe. We also work with grassroots communities to empower and equip them to challenge Islamophobia through the democratic process.

Muhsin Ahmed was an 81-year-old retired Imam. He was racially abused and violently assaulted on his way to the mosque for morning Fajr prayer in an Islamophobic attack. He lost his life as a result of his injuries 😔
