Our 1st court-date is 6/16 and we have trial scheduled just 28 short days later on 7/14, so things are going to progress VERY quickly now.. I am here in Tyler, Tx(Smith County) and although I am in for THE fight of My life, I have not lost hope.. I cannot do that because My Sons need me... That being said, | REALLY NEED YOU GUYS HELP ASAP. . We have to employ an attorney before 6/16 or these folks are going go give me a Court appointed Public defender who is just going to offer me up on a platter... I am facing up to 20yrs for a 6yr old possesion charge that would be a misdemeanor anywhere else but Texas and here in Smith Co. they WILL throw me away if I do not have adequate defense.. SO PLEASE HELP ME BY DONATING TO THE GOFUNDME LINK BELOW !! My Children need me home.
I do not deserve to be going to anyone's prison for
YEARS of my life but that's exactly what will happen without a paid lawyer.. My wife is doing all that she can to make ends meet but needs me home too !! PLEASE HELP US! Also, If anyone could please write a support letter/ character witness letter, that will really help also...

Hey guys, this is Heather Rod‘s wife and I just wanted to inform y’all that he’s doing OK for the most part. Of course he has times when he gets down and discouraged, but we are still managing the best we can and I will always do whatever I can to love, support and encourage him. We are still waiting to see if Texas is going to come get him, they have until April 21 or they have to release him. But we still are going to need a lawyer. He says to tell y’all he loves you, misses you and greatly appreciate your support. He definitely needs your help really badly because Texas is trying to do him wrong.
