Tripura Sundari is the third *Adya Mahavidya* worshipped during Gupt Navratri. Raj-Rajeshwari, Bala, Lalita, Meenakshi, Kamakshi, Shatakshi, and Kameshwari are all names attributed to Her. In Her form as Tripura Sundari, the Goddess is seated upon a lotus that emerges from the navel of Lord Sadashiva, who lies in a state of serene repose. She holds a noose, a goad, a bow, and an arrow in Her hands. The seat of the Goddess is borne upon the heads of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Yama-raj. She possesses three eyes and bears a crescent moon upon Her forehead.
