Happy New Year, friends! I’m sure you noticed there was no new video this past Wednesday—I decided to take a little mid-week break from uploading to really soak in the last day of the year. It felt so good to just be present and unplug for a moment!

We ended 2025 on such a high note with our "final pizza of the year" at La Balmesina (honestly, if you’re in Barcelona, you know their sourdough is elite 🍕). Then, for our New Year’s Eve dinner, we went for total comfort and nostalgia. We prepared a few of the typical Lithuanian salads I grew up eating back home. There is something so special about bringing those childhood traditions into a new year, isn't there? It made the whole night feel so grounded and cozy.
I truly hope you all had a beautiful, restful start to 2026! Whether you were out celebrating or having a quiet night in like me, I’d love to hear how you spent your first moments of the year. 🥂
