The Rose & The Bee: Fiber Art Craft- Knit Felt Sew

Yarn of the Month has been one of the most enjoyable yarns for me when knitting cable patterns this winter. My favorite thing is how much people I knitted for love wearing the items I made with ‪@knitpicksOfficial‬ Mighty Stitch. It is soft and has such a gentle feel on the skin. The hat and the sweater in these photos are receiving so much love despite their recipients having a very sensitive skin. They love the smooth soft feeling of Mighty Stitch. I love even more the way in which it showcases the beauty of intricate cable patterns.
Needless to say, as soon as I weave in the ends on this sweater, a new Might Stitch project is jumping onto my knitting needles.
It is 20% off this month and the hardest part is choosing the color from the beautiful options available.

Here is a tiny detail of this month's knitting journey that I am so excited about! Luminance lacy silk yarn from ‪@knitpicksOfficial‬ is just amazing. It feels like seafoam in your hand and has such a nice appearance that is not too shiny and not to flat either. It is truly luxurious. This photo is a stitch test swatch for a shawl for my mom. This color will be just amazing with her eyes. Loving this project already and so in awe of this yarn.

Wrapping the past year of knitting up and looking back, my favorite, most reached for and most used tools were Caspian ‪@knitpicksOfficial‬ 8" double pointed knitting needles. Their wood warmth and weight feels just right in my hands, but what I love even more is the lamination that is not too smooth not too sticky 😁 letting the stitches glide so smoothly while not being worn out or scratched with continuous use. I love Caspian knitting needles so much that I even use them for smaller knitting tasks and gauge swatches with needle stoppers at the ends to pretend they are nit dpns. Clearly, it is time to invest in a few more sets.
They are firmly at the top of my "most likely to cast in with" knitting needles as we wrap up 2025 and begin 2026 knitting adventures.

It is that time of the year when gifts are being readied. I am so excited to put the finishing touches on this 100% Wool hat for a lovely little girl in my life. Tuff Puff yarn by ‪@knitpicksOfficial‬​ was so enjoyable to knit with. I am thinking of making one more in different colors soon. I love that weaving of the ends can be done with a felting needle and no need for any knots. Tuff Puff yarn is really great for a fast knit project that will be beautiful and treasured. I can't wait to gift this little hat.
