I am Michael Pos—a conservatory-educated composer, multi-instrumentalist, and the founder of RCSQ Records™. After a career in the corporate boardroom, I’ve returned to my roots in Middle Tennessee to focus on a singular philosophy: "Discipline sharpens the artist."
On this channel, I am documenting a relentless creative journey. Starting February 12, 2026, I am releasing a new original single every two weeks through May 23. This is "The Rolling Wave"—a series of songs written, performed, and produced entirely by me in my home studio.

"How do you define a friend who never spoke?" 🐾
Stop #2 of 2 Weeks | 1 Song was inspired by the pursuit of pure authenticity.
Following the insights of Susan Rogers (producer for Prince and neuroscientist) and her book This Is What It Sounds Like, this track explores the "Eclectic Roots Groove™" at its most honest and stripped-back level.
Influenced by the creative weight of Frank Zappa and Terry Adams (NRBQ), "CLEO" is a masterclass in structural restraint—featuring only Michael’s seasoned vocals and a rhythmic acoustic guitar.
"Discipline sharpens the artist."
The journey continues every two weeks.
Join the route as we document the human story through real songs and real instruments.
