Recently, we have experienced a surge in viewers from the US. I love this, but I usually post around 3pm CET, which is 6 am PST and 9am EST, so maybe not ideal for the publication date. If you are from the US, how di you find the channel?

🎄Advent of Rust: Day 14 Solved✅

Unwrap your data with match🎁

• Destructuring: Known { x, y } pulls fields out
• Patterns: Matches specific enum shapes
• Exhaustive: You MUST handle every variant

Did you find the "Hidden spot"?📍

See you tomorrow at 5 AM CET!

🚨Super important question for the future of the channel in 2026: Would you like me to dive deeper into coding tutorials about Axum, currently considered the best Rust Web framework for the backend, and maybe make a whole playlist about it? I personally think it's a great way to learn Rust AND how to write backend applications properly (even if you use AI)

Leave a comment if you have any doubts/suggestions.

The match Control Flow is my fav one.

Rust's pattern matching is awesome and ensures you never miss a case (it's called exhaustiveness).

This is the best tip to publish more videos if recording yourself gives you anxiety:

(But you need to have enough free space on the hard drive)

Turn on your camera and start recording yourself while doing stuff and explaining what's happening on the screen. After a while, you will experience the "big brother effect" and might forget you're actually recording. If you end up recording something meaningful, funny, or just something you want to share, stop the recording, add an extra 1-minute video to give some context, and publish it.

Low effort, authentic, and effective for what you really want to share (you decide what)

Yes, this might be a video, but I am just taking a coffee break while editing.

🎄Advent of Rust: Day 13 Solved✅

Enums in Rust are superheroes 🦸‍♂️

• Unit Variant: Unknown (a label)
• Tuple Variant: Anonymous(String) (holds data)
• Struct Variant: Known { x, y } (named fields)

Did you define all the shapes correctly?📐
See you tomorrow at 5 AM CET!

Enums.

In Rust, Enums are supercharged. They aren't just numbers; they can hold data (like Strings or specific coordinates).
