Daily Devotional: The Risen King

Scripture:
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Reflection:
The stone was rolled away, not so Jesus could get out, but so we could see in. The tomb is empty, and that changes everything.

Death could not hold Him.
The grave could not keep Him.
Sin could not defeat Him.

Jesus’ resurrection is not just a historical event, it’s a living reality. Because He rose, we can rise above fear, shame, and defeat. His victory is our victory. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now lives in us (Romans 8:11). That means every new morning is a reminder that hope lives.

You may be facing trials or walking through uncertainty today, but take heart—the Risen Savior walks with you. He has overcome the world, and His presence goes before you.

Let today be marked by resurrection power: a fresh start, a lifted spirit, and unshakable peace.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
You are alive! You have conquered sin, death, and the grave.
Thank You for rising just as You said, and for keeping every promise.

Daily Devotional: God's Unfailing Love

Scripture:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” — Psalm 136:1 (NIV)

Reflection:
In a world where change is constant and people sometimes fail us, God’s love stands as a firm foundation. His love doesn’t waver with circumstances or depend on our performance. It is eternal, steadfast, and deeply personal.

The phrase “His love endures forever” is repeated 26 times in Psalm 136—a powerful reminder that God wants us to know just how unshakable His love truly is. It sustained Israel through the wilderness, rescued them from enemies, and provided for every need. And that same love is at work in our lives today.

When you feel alone, overwhelmed, or uncertain, anchor yourself in this truth: **God’s love for you has no expiration date.** His love walked with you yesterday, is holding you today, and will lead you into tomorrow. You are fully known and deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your love that never fails.
Even when I fall short, You remain faithful.
Help me to rest in Your goodness today, and to live with a grateful heart, confident that nothing can separate me from Your love.
