Surprises are not uncommon occurrence in orthopaedic sports surgery.
A HAGL lesion in an unstable shoulder is rare enough & difficult enough for most shoulder surgeons. When combined with a Bankart lesion in the same shoulder this rarity & difficulty is exponentially magnified. It is a matter of pride on presenting a complex in master case series where doyens of shoulder surgery discuss about complex cases.
