Three supporting points for one of things people do not know:
- Just because you “prayed on it” doesn’t mean it was effective or that God even heard it
- Lack of desired results in prayer is not an effective way to ascertain the will of God
- Prayer does not make faith work. Faith makes prayer work

I’m looking forward to being back with my Faith Family tomorrow for our Back To School Sunday. During this Faith Experience, we will individually pray a prayer of blessing and protection over every student and educator present.

I’ll also be giving a Mid Year update on what the love and faithful generosity of the Faith Family has accomplished so far this year. Some of our community partners will also be present to share their gratefulness for the support of Faith.

Pastor Kurt Lemons, thanks for holding it down and building up the Faith Family concerning their identity as righteous and who they are in Christ Jesus while I was away!

With great joy, Racquel and I are pleased to announce the birth of Kerrick Aubrey Robert Butler, III. We call him Trey. He was born yesterday at 21 inches and 8lbs 8oz. Racquel and Trey are both doing great.

Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. We are beyond joyful and grateful to welcome our beautiful baby boy to our family.
