Humayun's Return to the Mughal Throne
Humayun first became the second Mughal emperor in 1530 at just 22 years of age, succeeding his father, Babur. However, his reign was cut short after defeats by Sher Shah Suri at the Battle of Chausa (1539) and the Battle of Kannauj (1540), forcing him into exile. In 1544, he sought refuge in Persia, where Safavid Shah Tahmasp I provided military support. Returning to India with a strengthened army, Humayun defeated Sikandar Shah Suri at the Battle of Sirhind on 22 June 1555, reclaiming Delhi and Agra and restoring Mughal rule. On 23 July 1555, he ascended Babur's throne in Delhi for a second time. His restored reign was brief, as he died on 27 January 1556 after falling from the steps of his library. He was buried in Delhi at Humayun's Tomb and was succeeded by his son, Akbar.

"The Passing of Shah Jahan" – A Poignant Moment in History
A powerful depiction of the final days of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, imprisoned in the Agra Fort, gazing at the Taj Mahal—the eternal symbol of love he built for Mumtaz Mahal. The image captures the sorrow of a ruler who once commanded a vast empire, now confined to memories of his lost love and fading glory.
History reminds us that power is fleeting, but love and legacy endure.
