STAR LEAP RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED!

Konami just surprise revealed the release date for Star Leap in Japan over on their X account. The game will release on iOS and Android this Friday on August 7th.

No global release date has been revealed yet.

They also revealed a new Suikoden Live Broadcast will be taking place on Thursday August 6th at 20:00 P.M. JST

They also revealed that the anime will begin its 2 week advance screen in Japan beginning August 21st, all but confirming the original accidental reveal they made of October 3rd for the anime airing on tv in Japan.

It may start as a Suikocentric server, but hopefully we can grow it into a wider JRPG community.

I held a poll a few days ago about starting a Discord server as I had many requests to start one, and an overwhelming majority of you voted yes. So here it is. Join, chat, get to know each other, talk all things Suikoden. Have fun!

Konami revealed a new Phantom Battle mode for Star Leap over on their X account.

You can battle against a variety of characters and earn a gemstone currency as well as a new item called Memoria. Memoria's appear to be accessories that provide your party with passive bonuses.

They showed Alen and Glenshiel's Memoria which provides your party with a passive 0.7% physical and 0.5% magical attack bonuses, as well as an additional 0.7% bonus when attacking with Fire or Lightning.

Also shown in the screenshot was a Pirate's Memoria with Anji, Leonardo, and Kanak, as well as a Villains Memoria with Kraze, Kanaan, and Grady. No information has been revealed about what bonuses they provide.

Try to find the best Memoria to complement your party set up.

The images also confirm Fu Su Lu, Gon, Kanaan, Mose, Moose, and Mace as characters to appear in Star Leap.

I'm hesitant to make one because who needs yet another Discord server added to their long list of servers that they'll never use, but if you guys want one I'll make one.

The first chapter of the Suikoden II anime manga adaptation released in Japan today in the Dengeki Daiohg magazine. It covers up to Riou / RIliu and Jowy jumping off Tenzan Pass into the river.

I might do a video recap on it in the next day or two, but I'm weary about spoiling the anime.

It seems the next Suikoden Live broadcast will take place on stage at TGS on September 20th, with a concert taking place on the 19th.

With how many character trailers they're releasing lately, and the RanRinTen voice actors playing the game on their Youtube channel, I'd expect a release date announcement at TGS.

I have an hour long video covering the entire Suikoden 1Soul Eater novel written up. The video will provide short 2-3 minute summaries of each chapter while focusing on the new scenes in the novel. I'll try to record it and have it up this week. I know that'll be disappointing to those of you who were enjoying the in depth coverings of each chapter, but maybe this'll be a little compromise instead of dropping the novel videos entirely.

The second trailer for the Suikoden anime has been released. Some additional news released along with it.

The anime is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on October 3rd. Missed opportunity to not release it on the 8th for the 10/8.

The first episode will be a 60 minute special. The first 3 episodes will air in theatres in Japan in advance starting August 21st.

The opening theme song "Kanashimi Sae Otonobite" is performed by amazarashi.

Aki Shimizu just announced over on Twitter / X that the Star Leap manga will end with Chapter 6 that releases in September.

She's disappointed it's ending so soon as there are many more things she wishes she could do with it.

The English localisation of the final chapter will release in October. Just in time for the Suikoden II anime. Do you think we'll see Star Leap release around then to capitalise on the hype of the anime?
