Something powerful is coming out of Onitsha…
Four groups. Four stories. One unforgettable workshop.
Over three days, creatives were thrown into the fire — divided into four teams, handed raw scripts, and given a challenge: bring it to life.
Now, the first group's short film drops
You don’t want to miss how they turned a simple script into a jaw-dropping performance.

Last weekend, I spent what—by my financial standards—is a pretty huge sum on something most people might not understand.
I spent money on the young people of Onitsha— Giving them a chance to act, To be seen, To dream out loud, To show the world that their stories matter.
I stood at the sidelines and watched it all unfold. I saw their passion. Their excitement. And for that reason alone, I chose to overlook every flaw, every mistake. Because this wasn’t about perfection.
This wasn’t about recreating Love in Every Word. It was about opening a door— even if it’s just a crack—for young dreamers who’ve been knocking for too long.
Now, they can say:
“I’ve acted before—and I have proof.”
That, to me, is not a mean feat. A new chapter is opening. A seed is being planted.
And no matter how much we will spend on this, we’ve agreed to make this platform the nursery of filmmaking in Onitsha. And just like every nursery, growth will take time.
Six months... 5 years, we wait.
But what matters is—we have started. We already have a good number of them baptized into the world of cinema. And from here, the only direction left is upward. And as the sun rises and the trees mature, we’ll watch these seeds bloom.
One day, the world will hear the statement we’re making now in whispers. I’ve come to believe: No investment in people is ever wasted. Even when profit doesn’t show. Even when the world isn’t watching.
Because what we’re building has its own value: Friendships that will outlive the project, Stories that will echo for decades, And the quiet joy that comes from chasing a dream while it’s still breathing.
We’ve started the ride. The roller coaster has taken off. And there’s no stopping us now.
I feel so emotional about this community. Maybe—just maybe—I can say to myself, 'You’re on the right track. You’re making people's dream come true."
