Florence quit her job! She is now a singer-songwriter, musician, and owner of a piano and a guitar that don’t have time to gather dust.
She started out in varsity soccer, but everything shifted, for the better, after a concussion. As she likes to joke: “I was an athlete… I woke up an artist.”
With ‘Better Like That’, Florence arrives with a “new Alanis Morissette”: lyrics that are both humorous and rooted in reality, carried by pop-rock melodies that showcase her trained voice.
Today, Signée florence is a pop-rock signature of her own.

Doing school on zoom and playing soccer while practicing social distancing. What a strange time.

I jumped for the ball, but the opposing team’s defender hit my head. Concussion.
I was an athlete — woke up an artist.
I took my first singing lessons that summer. The Blues of the Summer.

Two internships: one in investment, one in pension plans. Made me want to retire already. Then I remembered—I’m only in my twenties.

I went to McGill’s open house, curious about their neuroscience program. I don’t know what happened on my way there, but I came back with a music major pamphlet and high hopes.

Funny how things change.
Graduation Day.
Learned my lesson,
now there’s nothing left to say.
Graduation Day.
I’ll be graduating on stage, playing the songs that shaped my career change. It’s happening on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟳𝘁𝗵, 𝟴 𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲. Come on, let’s celebrate and have a good time! 🎓🎶
