مجرائی کرب و بلا میں تھا نہ یکسر پانی
آلِ احمد کے سوا سب کے تھا گھر گھر پانی
मुजरई करबोबला में था न यक्सर पानी
आले अहमद के सिवा सब के था घर घर पानी
رحمتِ حق ہے خموش ابر بہاراں معدوم
پانی پانی ہوا جاتا ہے زمیں پر پانی
रहमत ए हक़ है ख़मोश अब्र ए बहाराँ मादूम
पानी पानी हुआ जाता है ज़मीं पर पानी
ہے تصوّر سے پرے پائے نہ پانی انساں
قطرهٔ خوں کی روانی کا ہے محور پانی
है तसव्वुर से परे पाए न पानी इंसाँ
क़तरा ए खूँ कि रवानी का है महवर पानी
مضطرب قلب و جگر سوز و گداز و آلام
نہ ملے گر یہاں انسان کو دم بھر پانی
मुज़्तरिब क़ल्ब ओ जिगर सोज़ ओ गुदाज़ ओ आलाम
न मिले गर यहाँ इंसान को दम भर पानी
ہستیٔ فوجِ یزیدی کی حقیقت کیا ہے
نگہ حضرت عباس میں لشکر پانی
हस्ती ए फौज ए यजीदी की हक़ीक़त क्या है
निगह ए हज़रत ए अब्बास में लश्कर पानी
ٹھاٹھیں لیتے ہوئے دریا پہ نظر بچّوں کی
شدتیں اور بڑھاتا ہے یہ خنجر پانی
ठाठें लेते हुए दर्या पे नज़र बच्चों की
शिद्दतें और बढ़ाता है ये ख़ंजर पानी
آہ بھر کر یہ کہا بالی سکینہ نے پھُوپھی
پھینک دیتے ہیں دِکھا کر یہ ستمگر پانی
आह भर कर ये कहा बाली सकीना ने फुफी
फैंक देते हैं दिखा कर ये सितमगर पानी
حرمِ شاہ شہیداں کو نہ پہنچا افسوس
چلّو بھر پانی میں مر جائے نہ کیوں کر پانی
हरम ए शाह ए शहीदाँ को ना पहुंचा अफ़सोस
चुल्लू भर पानी में मार जाए न क्यों कर पानी
چین سے سو بھی نہ سکتے تھے وہ پیاسے بچے
تھا نہ زنداں میں اسؔیر اتنا میسر پانی
चैन से सो भी न सकते थे वो प्यासे बच्चे
था न ज़िंदाँ में 'असीर' इतना मयस्सर पानी
