I’m Zak Korvin, an English artist living in the Sacred Valley, Perú.
Over the years I’ve found drawing mandalas and sacred geometry to be extremely useful in reducing anxiety and just feeling way better mentally overall. I feel like I’m tapping into something cosmic that I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe you feel the same?
I’m passionate about geometric art, but not just because I like to make pretty patterns. If I wanted to do that I’d use a computer. When I’m drawing geometry I become fully immersed and the world disappears for a moment. As cliché as it sounds it’s all about the journey, not the destination.
The videos I post here are what I'm working on and things I've been thinking about, mainly things I want to remind myself to do in my art and in life.

It's only $3 for a high res image ready to print. Print out a bunch, give em to your friends and family for Christmas and save a small fortune.

December 13,14 - Geminids Meteor Shower.
December 19 - New Moon.
December 21 - December Solstice.
December 21,22 - Ursids Meteor Shower.

I wanted to draw the Sigillum Dei.
But I thought I’d better investigate it first to make sure I didn’t summon any demons.
Turns out it’s a really good symbol and nothing to be afraid of.
A seal of protection.
Where did this myth come from that pentagrams are bad?
It’s almost as if they don’t want us to have our own power.
I’m noticing a pattern here.
