I lean the Saints here obviously because dogs of 5.5 points or more have been absolute money makers.
This Saints offense has struggled. All of the data will say differently with them being top 10 in every single advanced metric.
Those first 2 weeks they played really bad defenses including the Cowboys & Panthers. The last 2 weeks have been more telling averaging just 18 PPG.
The Chiefs offense is obviously struggling, especially now without their best WR in Rice and no Pacheco. Averaging only 19.5 PPG the last two weeks, and now missing two key weapons offensively, I don't see how they can turn it around against this saints defense.
Saints Defense this season:
• 7th in EPA per play • 17th in EPA per rush • 5th in EPA per pass • 22nd in QB Pressure rate
Chiefs Defense this season:
• 15th in EPA per play • 18th in EPA per pass • 6th in EPA per rush • 21st in QB pressure rate
The public is all over the over, yet the Chiefs under has hit 7 out of their last 9 games vs Top 10 scoring defenses.
